After completing music school with a diploma in violin, she studied at the St. Petersburg Professional School of Music Education, graduating with a degree in music education. Upon completion of her subsequent studies at the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts she was granted a degree in choir direction. In addition, Kisseleva studied singing and even participated as a choir singer at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. At the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, she completed a second degree in choir direction. She was also employed as a vocal teacher, choirmaster and head of the vocal department at the Nordhorn Music School. The choirs she has directed include the St. Petersburg Boys Choir, Chor Contakt of the Hattingen Music School, the Extras Choir at the Eisenach Theater, the Children’s Choir at the Bielefeld Theater, the children’s and mixed choirs in the Johann Sebastian Bach Church in Berlin, and the group Gospelboat Berlin. Her choirs have won prizes in various competitions, for example in the North Rhine-Westphalian state competition Youth Sing. She leads advanced training workshops for teachers and has served as choirmaster of the project Sing! in Berlin since 2011. As a choral director and vocal coach she participated in the theater project Going Away at Radial System. Olga Kisseleva has also conducted orchestras and, in addition to the violin, plays piano and guitar.
